Lillian Woods
She doesn’t really like the concept of nicknames, as she feels that labels like that only serve to limit people, and so most people respect her and don’t give her any. Those who used to be her friends, however, have names for her, and traitor is the most kind of them. The rest should never be repeated.
Physical Description
An average height woman, she is in a very fit shape, and is rather well endowed, something she always used to be ashamed of in college. Her skin is usually slightly tanned, as she spends a lot of time exercising outdoors, and enjoying the sun. She has long blonde hair and keeps it mostly behind her head with a little bit framing each side of her face. She also wears a black headband with a pink shamrock on it.
She tends to go very simple when it comes to make-up, as she doesn’t generally put too much thought into it. A simple pink lipstick, pink nails and a little bit of eye shadow is all she ever uses. She tends to blush a lot and be so tanned that it’s not really worth her time to do that. Besides, she works out so much that it would likely be washed off with sweat before too long. She actually spent a lot of time finding an eye shadow that wouldn’t do that.
Physical Quirks
She is almost always moving, either jogging in place, stretching, or just moving. She doesn’t like sitting down, and will only do it if absolutely necessary. When she does, she’s usually fidgeting, as if she doesn’t know what to do with herself.
Clothing Style
She’s a creature of comfort, that much hasn’t changed. She is almost always in one of her pink and grey exercise suits, with top and long shorts. She also is usually wearing a pair of pink, blue and white running shoes. She usually avoids jewelry as it tends to cause issues with her workout, or get snagged in her hair.
Mental Characteristics
Personal History
Growing up as a middle child in a well to do family, she always felt like she had to prove herself. She had heard stories of all the great battles for civil rights in the past and wanted her life to mean something. When she started high school and heard about all the injustices feminists claimed men were perpetuating against women, she signed up immediately. She bought it all, feeling that the fight was just, and she was righteous in her actions, and it continued, if not getting worse, all the way through college.
In her last year of college, one of her friends accused her ex boyfriend of raping her, and she jumped on board to call out this attack, joining for the calls to have him expelled by the school. After her was kicked out, and his scholarship revoked, she was borrowing her friends phone to call someone and she snooped and saw some texts with her and another friend saying that she had made up the allegation because he had broken up with her after she raped him when he was drunk. After taking screenshots and sending them to herself, she confronted her friend, not mentioning the texts. Her friend admitted it, gleefully saying she got him back for dumping him. She went home and began to research all the things she thought were true, only to see they were all lies, and decided she needed to change. She sent the screenshots to her friends ex, and encouraged him to sue the college for expelling him, which he did. She then started over in new college in the US near an aunt, with a whole new degree, wanting to escape the toxic people she was involved with.
Education
She took a little extra time in college, as when she started she was taking communications, but realized in her final year that she needed a new path, and took classes to become a fitness instructor, taking a year also getting the basics of physical therapy.
Employment
She started her own gym not long after graduation, looking to make some money so she could finish her physical education graduate classes. After a few years doing the gym, she realized it was good money, and she already enjoyed it, so it wasn’t worth the time to get the advanced degree.
Morality & Philosophy
She still feels a lot of guilt for all the things she did and used to believe. As such, she spends a lot of time making it up to whomever she can, in any way she can. She has gotten between abusive women and the men in their lives, stopping the violence and encouraging the man to get out more than once. She also will happily correct anyone spouting incorrect nonsense like she used to, and do so publicly and loudly, so others hear how wrong it is. She knows she will never make up for all she has done, but she has to at least try.
Personality
Motivation
She is very driven to help make the world better, that much hasn’t changed since she was a young girl, but now it’s not just making things better, but stopping those who want to make it worse. She is also looking to help people feel better about themselves, and she realizes that exercise really does help with that. Anytime she sees a person who looks miserable, she invites them to jog with her, and when it’s over, asks them if they feel better. If they do, she lets them know that’s natural, and exercise does that, then usually slips them a business card and lets them know if they ever want to learn more, stop by the gym.
Likes & Dislikes
She absolutely adores pink, and has a collection of little pink figurines in her apartment. She also loves the sun, and spends as much time as she can in it, even in the middle of winter. ESPECIALLY in the middle of winter. She loves the outdoors, and prefers to be there. She really dislikes social media, and how it has protected and fostered the terrible ideology she used to believe. She encourages all her students to ditch it as well, as she tells them it brings out the negative emotions, which hurt your body’s health.
Virtues
She is very focused on the idea of healthy body and healthy mind, and will discourage people she sees with unhealthy habits. She knows that it’s not easy, and will do whatever she can to encourage them, and be supportive while they work towards a better self. She is also very compassionate, especially to those she sees who are being wronged. She has given up the collectivist idea that groups are oppressed, and realized the real minority being oppressed is the individual.
Vices
As much as she preaches her healthy living mantra, she does also say that it is natural to cheat, and that is something she does. She almost is the living embodiment of the Larry Croce comedy song “Junk Food Junkie” but she does keep it under control. She gives herself one day a week where she cheats, and usually ends up hitting one of her favourite burger joints.
Quirks
While she does want to fight against the crazy ideology she used to be a part of, she also know how the operate, and when there is a large group, she will avoid them, preferring to work on them one on one. She knows large groups will just shout down any opposition and bully, so she doesn’t even bother.
Values
She knows that people make mistakes, so for her, she respects those who actually learn from those mistakes and try to do better. She is always willing to accept an apology and will encourage people to do the same. She considers those who don’t just change, but help others not make the same mistakes to be even better.
Sexual Style
While she does have a moderately high sex drive, she actually has herself a boyfriend and is very committed to him. What confuses people is that she is dating a kraken, something akin to an intelligent squid, but able to live on land. She jokes around that she started watching hentai and never looked back on humans. Their sex definitely fits this description, as she loves to role-play rape fantasies with him, and they are very happy together. She knows that she will never have children with him, but doesn’t care, the sex is just too good for her. She’s actually encouraged some of her friends to give it a try, but most are too freaked out by it.
Social
Contacts & Relations
All of her old friends, she has broken ties with, and never wants to hear from them again, as she knows they are likely all lost and too toxic to be around. Her family, older and younger brother, as well as her parents, she had cut ties with in college, feeling they were all part of her made up enemies, but she has made peace with them and apologized for how she acted. They are relieved, but they still keep their distance, afraid she might fall back into it. The only relative she is really close to is her aunt, who she moved in with when she first came to the US to study. They meet up at least once a month, and generally go for a jog. She has made a lot of friends from her classes, and they generally just do a weekly jog around the park for their meet up.
Social Aptitude
Not really all that good in large social settings, she prefers smaller groups, especially with people she knows and trusts. In larger groups, she feels caged and unable to move, so she will generally move towards the edges of the group. She is friendly and chatty with people, but she will usually restrict it to small talk and talk about things she likes. She is very evasive when it comes to her past or divisive topics.
Religious Views
She never really had much attraction to any religion, and even once she realized the error of her ways, she still wasn’t interested. As she put it, she wasn’t going to trade in one religion just to join another one. While she admits they usually teach good moral lessons, they aren’t the only source of morality, and they don’t hold a monopoly on it.
Mannerisms
She is very flighty, always on the move, and not really wanting to be kept still, but she still is able to project a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Many times she’s actually asked to talk to people while she is exercising, as she feels that it helps get people’s blood going, that helps them think as well as act. She is also very adaptable to new situations, and is always open to meeting new people in limited settings.
Hobbies & Pets
Pretty much all of her hobbies are centered around her love of exercise and moving. She doesn’t even read like most people, instead having audio books which she can listen to while she keeps active. Even when she’s cooking her meals, she tends to be dancing around to some music. She has a pet dog, some kind of a grey and brown terrier cross about the size of a Scottish terrier names Miss Barky that she takes out on her runs.
Speech Style
She speaks a lot like a stereotypical valley girl, although a lot calmer temperament and fewer uses of the word “like”. Her pitch is also a little bit lower, but she does have that excited, always active sound. She will avoid using obscure or pseudo intellectual language, as she prefers to keep it simple for everyone.
Political Affiliation & Activism
She hasn’t really felt any urge to get back into any kind of political life, or even any broad scale activism. She would rather just do her activism on a smaller scale, and volunteers to teach a senior’s exercise class at the local retirement homes.
