Lucy Sun
Known as an accomplished programmer and writer of stories herself, Lucy has already made quite a name for herself, her company being one of the most popular video game companies out there; White Wing Games. The studio, while still not to the size of other more corporate studios, is personally overseen by her, and she has her hand in every game that leaves the door. She is also know to be a huge supporter of consumer rights, and was one of the first companies to push for allowing returns of digital media. She also feels that her employees should be free to say whatever they want online, as long as they never attack an actual customer. There’s been a couple times one of her employees has said something to a person online who immediately complained about “abuse” to her, and she directly asked them for their name to only find they hadn’t bought a single game of theirs, and she let them know that their complaint was given the same weight as the amount of money they have spent on their games.
Having a short enough name, she hasn’t really picked up any nicknames from it, but she is sometimes jokingly called the ghost because of her habit of slipping in and out of people’s offices without them noticing, and her pale appearance. She makes it a point to greet every guest to the game studio as soon as she can, so tries to be free of meetings most of the time, letting others take care of the planning.
Physical Description
A moderately tall woman with very pale skin, she has an almost ghostly beauty about her. With her white hair, usually kept up in some kind of a fashionable bun, she maintains an aura of professional courtesy and welcoming. With her pale complexion, she actually keeps any blush very light, but loves to have a shocking bright red lipstick, and some purple or blue eye shadow. She also likes bright or dark red nails, just to add to the contrast of her appearance.
She is a succubus, with middle sized wings and tail, all white. She had a pair of horns that start thick at the back of her lower head and curve forwards to a point. They are mostly white but with some light pink tinting in parts. She keeps them all hidden, and rarely shows them to anyone. She is very shapely, and looks very young, despite her 50 years of age. Because she has ears not unlike a high elf, most assume that is what she is.
Physical Quirks
She prefers to move as quietly as possible, and doesn’t like to interrupt people who are in the middle of something. She also likes to reach out to grasp people’s hands to shake them as soon as she meets them. She also has a tendency to tap her fingers on her desk when she’s waiting for something or someone.
Clothing Style
She prefers to keep herself in a professional look, with long sleeved blouses and long skirts. She has a pair of ribbon covered pumps that she prefers to wear as well. All the colours are muted, almost white themselves, and she likes gold and silver for jewelry. While she does dress professionally, she does like to flash a little cleavage, just to keep morale high among those who are attracted to such things.
Mental Characteristics
Personal History
Born to a well to do family, she never really knew any kind of hardship, or even saw anyone who was in need. However, when she was in high school, on a class trip to Toronto, she was separated from the group and ended up in the bad part of town. She saw many of the employees of the local businesses there, and how their bosses treated them, and she was horrified. She knew as a kid, she couldn’t help them, but she got as many names as she could, and took them home. She then went to her parents and told them what she saw. They were overjoyed at her compassion, and worked with people they knew in Toronto to get the people better jobs, and encouraged her to one day start a business of her own with that attitude.
Starting off as a writer, she made her way with a couple books for role-playing games, before moving into the new digital gaming realm writing stories for them. In her spare time she taught herself to program and then asked her parents for a loan, not a handout, to start a business making games. They eagerly accepted, and White Wing Games was born, and within 10 years, she had paid them back with interest. Instead of money, as repayment, they only asked for stock in the company, and are doing even better than before.
Education
Starting off with a college degree in creative writing, she jumped into the field of tabletop gaming very early. She doesn’t have much formal education beyond that, and all the programming skills she has now are self taught from books and online classes.
Employment
At first, she was just a freelance game writer, getting a couple books written a year for various different tabletop games. She was at this five years before moving to the video game company Tubisquish, where she wrote stories for some of their popular games. After three years there, she left and started White Wing Games, and has been doing that for the past 22 years, and has built an impressive company.
Morality & Philosophy
She wants to make sure her employees are happy, and well treated. She feels that the only people who have a right to complain about employees are those who actually pay for their service, and that boils down to the paying customer. As such, she is also a strong supporter of the customer’s rights. She will, however, not abide by someone abusing an employee, be they a paying customer or not.
Personality
Motivation
She wants to create a feeling of belonging, family and security among her employees. As such, she will take that extra step to make sure they feel appreciated, ensure they are well compensated and will work with any of them who have problems to ensure that they are resolved in a satisfactory manner to all involved. As she feeds on the contentment of others, this attitude creates a constant supply of that feeling from her employees, and she is quite happy continuing it.
Likes & Dislikes
She loves games and puzzles and will happily spend time with a new puzzle for hours. She has a few of her favourite puzzle boxes in her office and will often test people to see how good they are at solving them. She also loves to make sure everyone is happy, and she has only had one person quit from her employment, and that was because they had to move back to their home country to take care of their parents. She still keeps in contact with them, and will happily welcome them back should they return. She cannot abide rude, arrogant or abusive people. Not only do they ruin her employee happiness, and thus her food source, but she knows these people are just as abusive to everyone else. She takes great delight in publicly humiliating these people, in front of those they abuse.
Virtues
Despite growing up in a wealthy environment, she still cares about those around her, and is not upset by being told no. While her parents were giving, they also taught her that sometimes life isn’t fair and you don’t get what you want. As such, she learned that disappointment was part of life, so isn’t as fragile as many who grow up with such families. She also was taught that others aren’t as fortunate, but that if you are in the right position, you can help them achieve a better life, and it improves your life.
Vices
Strangely, she doesn’t seem to have any vices that anyone has talked about, but this is only because those who know of it don’t talk about it. She has an abnormally high sex drive and will give her affection to any of her employees that are willing. She won’t, however, do anything that will cause breakups, so only goes for singles or tries to get both partners in a couple. Despite this drive, she never actually used it to get ahead in her career, having earned her positions, and only uses it to reward her own employees, who are very loyal to her.
Quirks
An even tempered woman for the most part, she is happy to greet new people, and always makes sure her employees are well cared for. But if you harass or abuse one of her employees, her lashing out becomes legendary. Not because it is violent or loud, but because it is well crafted and very effective. She prefers to shame people publicly for such acts, and does it in a way that exposes them as a weak or manipulative person.
Values
She puts great stock in those she works with, and their well being. She also values those who work hard and keep things running properly. Everyone from the janitor to the highest programmer in her studio knows that she appreciates their hard work and dedication. And the Christmas bonuses usually reflect that.
Sexual Style
As free and as giving with her affection as a fae, she doesn’t do it in the open or with just anyone. She prefers to give her sexual attention to those who work for her, as a show of her appreciation for their loyalty, and only to those who show interest in her and are not attached. She is attracted to one of her top programmers and her husband, but has yet to get both of them on board for her attention. She won’t push it, however, as she values them both as employees, and knows they are very happy together, but she can’t help wanting to join them, and might very well spend less time with the rest of the staff if she could. She is open to any and all things, with both men and women, and has a particular love of creampies, enjoying the feeling of being full.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Still very close with her parents, who are about to go into a hibernation cycle, she will visit them on most holidays, and gives them a personal financial report on the company they now own partial stock in. She has no siblings, but considers her employees to be like her family, and treats them all well. She spends a lot of time with a married couple in particular that work for her, becoming very close friends with both of them, and has started spending some holidays with them.
Social Aptitude
A social butterfly in the extreme, she is always moving from person to person to make sure everyone around her feels welcome and at home. She is a very open and honest person, not being afraid to talk about almost any subject. She does, however, steer away from sexual talk in a workplace environment. She will whisper to those discussing it that they are welcome to talk about it with her after office hours.
Religious Views
Not really having any religious beliefs, she does understand that they provide great comfort and contentment to others. As such, she sometimes will go to random services, just for a little variety in her diet of content feelings. It has left more than a few ministers confused when she leaves a service looking sated, thanking them, but never returning.
Mannerisms
A bit touchy feely when it comes to greeting people, she does love to hold people’s hands. To those she wishes to get to know better, she will usually run a finger along their palm when grasping their hand and give them a look hinting as much. She also doesn’t seem to make much noise when she walks, partially because of the carpeting in the office, but also just the way she walks.
Hobbies & Pets
A fan of all types of games, she does have a regular tabletop group of employees she spends time with. None of the people in that group has ever slept with her, as they all have partners, so it doesn’t become awkward. She also is also known for her extensive puzzle collection, both in her office and her home. She has a cockatiel named Jared, after the Labyrinth character. She even taught him to say some of the lines of his from the movie.
Speech Style
Speaking almost in a whisper when she does talk, her voice is best described as breathy. Even when she’s upset or angry, she rarely raises her voice, keeping things quiet. She can be heard, however, as choir practice as a child taught her to project her voice, even when it’s quiet. She has no accent, and is known for complimenting almost everyone, especially her employees.
Political Affiliation & Activism
While she does support liberal policies for most things, she recognizes that it won’t always work with the wasteful nature of government and terrible mismanagement. As such, she is mostly disillusioned with the current parties and is looking for a reasonable alternative. Her activism is mostly in the area of consumer rights. She was one of the first companies to allow returns of their products, and actually offered them directly if stores refused to allow returns.
